Bank Holidays in Russia

Bank holidays in Russia are set by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation in line with the federal Labour Code. New Year's holidays span January 1–8, followed by Orthodox Christmas, Defender of the Fatherland Day, International Women's Day, Spring and Labour Day, Victory Day, Russia Day, and Unity Day. The Holidays API returns Russian bank holiday data including the substitute working-day adjustments common in the Russian calendar.

Returns every bank holiday observed in Russia for the specified year. Use the country ISO code RU to retrieve Russia bank closures.

Parameters

    Country name or ISO 3166-2 country code. Use RU for Russia.

  • year  optional premium only

    Calendar year between 1980 and 2050. Defaults to the current year.

    Name of the bank holiday.

    Date in YYYY-MM-DD format.
