Bank holidays in the Philippines are jointly declared by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and Malacañang through annual proclamations. They cover regular holidays such as New Year's Day, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Araw ng Kagitingan, Labour Day, Independence Day, National Heroes Day, Bonifacio Day, Christmas, and Rizal Day, plus special non-working days. The Holidays API returns Philippine bank holiday data for any year.

    Calendar year between 1980 and 2050. Defaults to the current year.
