College Basketball API

A college basketball API for every Division I men's team: get schedules, live scores with the half and game clock on paid plans, final scores by half with every overtime period, conference standings, the weekly AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll, and every team's roster, from the first week of November through the conference tournaments, the NCAA tournament and the national championship. The free plan covers the current season's schedule, final scores, standings, polls and rosters.

Men's college basketball (NCAA Division I) is served by the Basketball API with league=ncaab. The same API key works for every sports API.

College Basketball standings fields

Conference by conference: wins, losses, win_pct, conference_record, conference_win_pct, games_behind (conference leader), points_for, points_against, streak, home and road records, and the position in the conference in conference_rank. Filter with conference=Big East.

Returns schedules, live scores and final scores. Ask for one day, a team's season or one game; with only league you get today's games. Paid plans see games in progress with the score, period and clock updated throughout the game; the free plan sees their status and the final score once they end. The free plan covers the current season. Developer plans add the three previous seasons, and the Business tier and above gets the full season archive.

  • Call /v1/basketballstandings?league=ncaab&poll=ap for the latest AP Top 25 with points, first-place votes and last week's rank. poll=coaches is the Coaches Poll; add week=12 for another week or week=final for the final poll.
  • Men's college basketball is played in two 20-minute halves, so period_scores has two entries plus one per overtime, and period is 1 or 2 (3 for the first overtime). Women's college basketball uses quarters.
